Voyager Estate is a family-owned winery located in Stevens Valley in the southern Margaret River region of Western Australia. Established in 1978, the estate is renowned for producing elegant Chardonnay and Cabernet-based wines that express the unique maritime climate and gravelly soils of the region. Vintage Conditions The 2023 vintage in Margaret River delivered excellent conditions for Cabernet varieties, with an extended ripening period that allowed fruit to develop flavour intensity while retaining freshness and natural acidity. The season produced wines with vibrant fruit expression, refined tannins and excellent balance. Winemaking Techniques The 2023 Cabernets is a certified organic, single-estate blend that brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Fruit from selected vineyard blocks was vinified separately before blending, allowing each variety to contribute its own character and complexity. The winemaking approach focuses on preserving vineyard expression, freshness and elegance while building structure and depth.
